"Elena, please... go bring Mark home tonight."

"I know he likes to play around, but I truly believe you're the one he loves most. Those girls? They're just friends, nothing more. I’ll give him a stern talking-to later."

"If he isn't back by eleven, please, just go check on him. I’m asking you this as a mother."
